MUDPT Takes on Nicaragua

Marymount University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program will travel to Nicaragua, February 24-March 10, 2018, for our annual medical service mission/global engagement project. Since 2010, this faculty-guided and student-delivered program has been most successful building and delivering physical therapy services for disadvantaged individuals and organizations in Central America, principally in Costa Rica. 

 

Marymount’s DPT Class of 2018 will travel to Nicaragua with new and exciting initiatives in multiple practice sites. The aim of this project continues to be establishment of self-sustaining physical therapist services accessible across practice locations. 

 

This project is wholly supported by student-raised donations of new and used equipment, and creatively constructed equipment. To this end, we respectfully request your support in the form of equipment and supply donations and/or funded donations.
