Today at the Los Pepitos Pediatrics site children of various ages and diagnoses were seen. Although their conditions were different one thing was the same, the smile and light of every child’s eye as they moved. Parents and grandparents of the children were ecstatic for their children to receive physical therapy services as well as have their questions answered. Students at this site did an excellent job of performing evaluations and treatment interventions, even though they have not completed their full time Pediatric clinical experiences. They measured and assess for need of orthotics to provide support when walking.

Tuani was the word of the night and has been chosen as the word for the remainder of the trip! Tuani means “cool.” We will be using the #tuani on our twitter and Instagram social media pages so stay tuned!
